Singing literally saved my life.

My hope is that by sharing my passion for music, through music, with others, it will help in the healing process for those who may need it – the way it continues to heal me, every single day.

Music has always spoken to me and it has been my rock throughout my entire life, in good times and in bad.  When I hear a song, I love the process of creating – whether it’s transitioning chords on piano, to adding harmonies, or sometimes even putting a slight twist on it to add my own flavor.

I love performing and feeling the energy of the crowd. As a musician and performer, I am so grateful to have the opportunity to connect with others knowing that this connection and passion for music helps bring us all together. 

Lindsay Diles is the lead singer in The DC Transit Band, a high-energy cover band performing at weddings and events featured across the greater DC metropolitan area.  With over 20 years of experience, her featured venues include the National Mall, Entertainment and Sports Arena, and Capitol One Arena.  In addition to performing acoustically, using her piano and voice to inspire and empower others, she has performed the National Anthem for the Washington Wizards, Washington Mystics and Capital City Go-Go. She is honored to have the opportunity to share her passion for music and singing with everyone she has the pleasure of coming in contact with.
